Hush Little Digger

Do you remember the childhood song, Hush Little Baby, Don't Say a Word, Mama's Gonna Buy You a Mockingbird"? My son, Jimmer knows it is time to go to sleep when he hears that song. In fact now he says, "No, Mama" when he hears it start. We have a new version of this song in our house..... Hush Little Digger by Ellen Olson-Brown. This book is wonderful for any young child obsessed with trucks. This describes Jimmer perfectly.
In the book a little boy's dirt pile overflows. The father finds him all kinds of trucks: a red backhoe, a front-end loader, a big dump truck...... You get the idea. It is every boy's fantasy.
As I write this we are in Kansas, where, to my son's astonishment we visited "Big Brutus", the second largest truck in the world.
