I had to stop reading sad stories, so I picked up this new book by Graham Masterton. The cover of the book says that Masterton is a "horror veteran". It sounded like just what I needed!!
The story begins on the lawn of the White House in Washington D.C. As the President is getting on a helicopter, he is suddenly struck blind. No reason - just suddenly blind.
